The Pyrolyser system is a combustion furnace designed for the extraction of ³H, ¹⁴C, and iodine isotopes from various types of samples (e.g., metal, concrete, soil, sediments, plastic, asbestos, graphite).
It is a multi-sample system that allows the processing of multiple samples simultaneously.
The Pyrolyser multi-sample system is integrated into a single instrument. Each unit includes a controllable heating system, air and oxygen flow measurement, a catalytic oxidation zone, and a chain of bubblers to extract and trap the decomposition products of the sample. Up to six samples can be extracted simultaneously in approximately two hours.
The Pyrolyser Mini system has a smaller footprint compared to the standard version and can therefore be used in confined spaces, such as chemical fume hoods.
