The wide selection of chromatographic extraction resins allows for the separation of ions from various samples and matrices, including irradiated targets, environmental, medical, biological, waste, or decommissioning samples. The resins are composed of microspheres with an extremely high surface area impregnated with an organic extractant. The large surface area of the beads and the high extractant content make it possible to reduce the size of the columns—and consequently the amount of reagents used—resulting in less waste production. The extraction columns, cartridges, and chromatographic disks are easy to handle and can be conveniently used in vacuum chambers or in more complex separation systems, such as glove boxes and hot cells.

Resins

The resins are available in bottles, cartridges, and columns, and allow for the pre-concentration and/or separation of a wide range of elements, such as beryllium, cesium, copper, americium, actinium, calcium, radium, nickel, lead/polonium, rare earths, strontium, tin, uranium, plutonium, zirconium, and others. Prefilter resins are also available for the removal of organic impurities and for the purification of Ge isotopes, as well as ion exchange resins for the separation of chlorides and iodides.
